I have the 1003 style. I've seen it mentioned elsewhere that they sort of have a rubbery feel to them, and I'd say that's a pretty good description. They are definitely smooth, without any texture. They've been good for the last year for my home games and tournaments, but it's time to step to the next level. I think that, all things considered, you'll be happy you went with the Paulson buy. I have a sample of the James Bonds, and they are superior in every way to the 1003's.

Clay all the way, I don't like the feel of ceramics.

I'd say non denomination, but that may change after the Egyptian Paulsons arrive. Our home games have been very low stakes, and we wind up using the standard Casino colors divided by 10. So red is a nickel, green a quarter, black a dollar. I like the flexibility of making a color the value that's right for a particular game.

I've seen both blue and white in local Indian casinos here. I'm going to have to say I definitely prefer blue.
