was it just me or did everyone notice a huge difference in quality control between the "las vegas" (first generation) and the river tour (2nd gen) chips. i have quite a few samples of both (10+ for each) and the river tour chips were much worse. as others stated, the edge spots were the worst areas. i have a few chips that a have holes at least 1/8" deep where the spots meet the body. not to mention the streaks of edge spot colors through the plastic of the body, or vice versa.
i know they are plastic, so i dont expect great sound of feel, but for the price per chip they get, i would hope for better QC. i cant comment on the 3rd gen lucky bee's as i have never felt or seen them up close, but i would choose the 13 gram "casino" chips over nexgens anyday.
http://www.5stardeal.com/expand.asp?pid=9014&subcat=116 the QC i have seen for these will trump the nexgens anyday in my book.
