Custom Plaques

Is there any way to get custom plaques made? I’d even consider having plastic plaques made by a plastics company and going with a custom laser vinyl label from one of the places that makes the custom chip labels for the plastic/composite chips.

I really like the plaques that come with the Egyptian set, but I’d really like to go with my own design.

Any suggestion? Anyone else done this?

I would love to have "label ready" plastic plaques made out of the same stuff the nexgen chips are made of. I would pay upwards of $2 each for them. If you ever find/make some please let me know. I think black would be the best color for them, as we can make the label whatever color. White would be a good second choice for me. It wouldn't even matter if the labels were the right size as we could just cut each label before putting it on (I can't see having more than 50 of them in my set, maximum).

while we're at it, let's work on getting those huge sized plaques from the grand prix. did anyone else see those on wpt last week? the 200k plaque was the size of the lcd panel on my laptop. it was awesome.

Woh, those are cool.

I have a router. I'm also decent at figuring out jigs for tools. I could build some jigs (and make plans for others) to route something like a plaque, I'll bet.

I could make them out of polyethelene (natural colored industrial plastic) because it's durable yet easy to work with. It would take the small indentation for the label smoothly and buff well. It's kinda ugly though, I don't know if they make it in black. I picture all but the outside 1/4in covered by a label anyway. It is some pretty slippery stuff, also.

I would probably make them so they fit into KEM setup boxes for travel.

Hmmm.... sounds like it might be a plan. I'll post here if I end up doing anything.

I just cut the legs off of my wooden t.v. trays and am using them for $100,000 plaques. If we need a $1,000,000, I have an old coffee table on the back porch. Man that plaque in Paris was huge. Come on, it was ridiculous!!!

I've only found one site that sell jetons or plaques to the public. The only problem is the size of them. They're roughly 2 1/2" across. I'd REALLY like to find the much larger ones, 4 or even 5" wide. The sites I've found only sells to casinos. I don't really need them but, I REALLY NEED THEM!

sliding glass doors work well if you take the handle off...a bit classier than an old coffee table anyday
