It's actually very hard to see the different over the web because the DP's have the same mold and inlay on both. I suggest getting samples of both.
A very short description of the difference you will feel is that the compression molded (clay) will have a slightly chalky feel, will adhere together in stacks, and have a "clacky" sound when riffled or thrown into a pot. The injection molded (plastic) will be very smooth, will be slippery against each other, and will have a much softer sound when riffled or thrown into a pot.
(Also, you can't go wrong with Paulson Private Cardroom, those truly are exactly the type of chip you'd see in a casino. You have to be happy with a hotstamp chip, no graphics)
