Must have been some accident of sorts. |

Chips: 1,053 | | | Re: Great Packaging From TheChipRoom I am very sorry to here of the damage during shipping. We pride ourselves on the great care we take in packaging and shipping our chips. We have researched 100s of ways of packing chips. The method that we currently employ for used chips is to pack the chips in styrofoam sleves and either tape in cardboard or bubble wrapped and pack tightly in a box. This is the only instance, to my knowledge, that this packaging method has failed during shipping. Believe me, we DO NOT just throw our chips in a box. I regret that this was posted on here as it clearly is an exception and not the norm. If there were any chips damaged during shipping, we will gladly replace them at no cost. I believe that others who have purchased from The Chip Room in the past, can attest to our packaging standards.

The Chip Room LLC jim@thechiproom.com | IIRC on my package the styrofoam packaging only about 1/2 filled the box, so everything moved around until the styrofoam was completely smashed. I like to save handy packaging for reshipment but there wasn't anything salvageable of the styro trays. It wasn't an issue for me so I never mentioned it before. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
