I wonder how he would respond to discovery questions? Perjury really pisses off a judge. At $300/hr for an attorney, he may want to resolve the outstanding issues. A class action suit can't be fun.
As a reminder to anyone who feels they have been burned, FILE A COMPLAINT!!!! Paypal WILL take action, so will Ebay. | I'm not grasping something here- doesnt paypal have a protection plan in place for just this type of problem? Dont Paypal reimburse you or is their guarantee ONLY if they can recover funds from the seller...

Oh trust us, we'll protect you (as long as we don't have to pay anything out of our pockets in the end!). That's all in the nitty gritty fine print they don't want you to read. Always use a CC when dealing with someone you don't know via paypal, they are the only ones who really WILL get your money back in the end.
Paypal gets the best of both worlds, they get their fees from the money recipient AND don't have to refund the buyer if things go south. Nice.
BTW, love the new avatar Joe!

the only thing you can do is to use a credit card to fund your paypal payments. you can always tell your cc company that you want a chargeback, and paypal can do nothing about it. you can easily notice that by reading through their guidelines. they suggest that buyers should never use chargeback (poor paypal might lose money), but on the other hand if you're a seller they can't help you in case of a chargeback...
from the paypal website: Quote: |
In a dispute over a chargeback, the decision is ultimately made by the credit card company and PayPal cannot control the outcome.
