Hello everyone,
Another new member here, though I have been lurking for some time now

. Me and a couple of friends play (very) small stakes poker, using the good old dice chips. I'm looking for a serious upgrade to high quality clay chips, and have ordered several samples. Unfortunately for my wallet, I adore the Paulson Le Noir chips. I have a few questions though:
- Breakdown of the set: we play 0.05 and 0.10 blinds micro stakes. The 5$ chip would serve as 5c chip, 25$ as 25c chip, and so on. We usually buy in for 10 euro, with additional buyins (usually 3-4 people buy in an extra 5 to 10 euro). Most of the time there is 6 players, sometimes up to 8 players. I like large starting stacks, so I figured out the following 300 set breakdown:
120 * 5$ (allows for 20 chips if we play with 6 people, 15 chips if there's 8 people)
120 * 25$ (the same reasoning)
50 * 100$ (should just fit the first buyin)
10 * 500$ (for extra rebuys, they make change at the table)
Starting stacks would be:
- 6 players: 20*5 (1 euro), 20*25 (5 euro), 4*100 (4 euro). This leaves plenty for rebuys.
- 8 players: 15*5 (0,75 euro), 13*25 (3,25 euro), 6*100 (6 euro). This leave the $500 chips for rebuys.
It seems ok to me, but any suggestions are welcome of course.
My second question is the shipping and tax: the price of the set would be 424 dollar (shipping included), a hefty sum. My fear is in the taxes that I would have to pay. Does anyone have experience with shipping and customs to Belgium? Is it almost certain I will have to pay the tax, or is there a way to avoid them?
Many thanks,
Jonas
