Chips: 181 | | Paulson chip-suggestion I'm looking for an attainable Paulsen cash-set. The requirements are as follows; - TH&C mold
- Average max $2/chip
- Denoms: one rack of each $1, $5, $20/25, $100 Bonus: $500
- Standard Inlay, no grand or giant inlays
- Bonus: 43mm $500
Pictures are encouraged.
Only one I can think of are the JB'98s but they are hard to come by. I know there's an ad here but they are more than I need and expensive. The Scandia set would be awesome but they are really hard to come by and very expensive. It doesn't matter to me if they're casino- or homesets as long as they have the TH&C mold and no giant inlays. A "silent" inlay would be optimum but not required. I could also consider a "bastard-set" of various casino denoms but they seem hard to come by at $2/chip.
Edit: Also no hotstamps or solids (the $1 can be a solid, that's it). |

I have a friend who has a set of Scandia that he was selling. Don't know if they have been sold or not, but I can give him a call if you are interested.
He was asking a $1000 for it. 100 each of the following...$1.00, $5.00, $25.00, $100.00, $500.00. This is a lightly used home game set in excellent condition. Edges are sharp.
Here is photo of my set of Scandia's that I sold a few weeks ago. I bought both sets, one for me and the other for a gift.

We're currently using PNYs for cash and Ritz for tourneys so I'm familiar with the grand inlays.
I've also seen freddie's chips but not a huge fan.
GD: Could you check with your friend about the Scandia-chips? |

Chips: 2,055 | | | Re: Paulson chip-suggestion Just an FYI...ritz and pny are 'giant' inlay not grand...freddies, tukwilas...etc are 'grand' and the H&C scandias, for example, are 'standard' inlays. Quote:

Chips: 12,260 | | | Re: Paulson chip-suggestion That's right, I was just going to say the same thing. The grand inlay is typically on the chips that have the TH&Cs but no outer concentric circle and IMO look cheesy/cheap. I prefer standard then giant then grand. Quote:
