Chips: 98 | | | has anybody made edgespots on their chips I think I have a looming disaster, I ordered 80 blood red tmolds thinking that they would be a bright red, had them shipped straight to Jsmith to stamp them. Well he just finished them sent me a photo and the damn things look brown. seeming they are already stamped I cant return them and im worried that they are gonna be to close to my black tmolds. So I was thinking of maybe painting edgespots on but am worried about that process also. So has anyone done this or have any tips on it? |

I used a paint pen from JoAnn's to do the edge spots.
Ok, you can stop laughing now. |

Chips: 59 | | | Re: has anybody made edgespots on their chips I think blood red is the same colour as the base color of samurai $5 ?. If so once they arrive i dont think you will be worried about them looking similar to black anymore. It may have just been a bad photo. Also i have been experimenting with inks that i could use on tmolds and found that most still smudge after sitting for a day except one. I used a Artline CD/R marker pen for writing on CD's (obviously) and after putting a dot on my test chip and letting it sit for a day i couldnt smudge it at all no matter how much i rubbed it. I think if you want to make edge spots you dont want to use paint as this will build up on the chip and not sink in. Ink seems to sink in and looks more authentic. |

Chips: 789 | | | Re: has anybody made edgespots on their chips The blood red T-molds aren't even close to brown so this just isn't making sense to me. Here's the set from the Windy City Blowout II. We used blood red for the 5k chip. Quote:
