I placed an 800 chip order from trademarkpoker.com. I signed up with them and received an account with trademarkcommerce.com . Today my order arrived: chip case, racks and chips. Unfortunately I only received 380 of the 800 chips I ordered.

I signed for the package when the UPS guy gave it to me (like I always do). Was I supposed to open the box and inspect the package before I signed for it? I had to pay duties. Has this happened with anyone else?

Has anyone ever ordered from trademarkpoker.com before?

Obviously they're closed tonight so I'll have to wait for tomorrow before I can do anything but I'm pretty stressed out considering I'm short over $400 in chips and its pretty much my word against theirs.

what does the packing slip say? I'm thinking it will show the missing chips as backordered.

so barring that the slip says Back Order or something along those lines... you have options! Just call the number on the UPS slip right away and tell them the contents inside werent as supposed to be! They can send a driver to pick it up and send it back! But you have to do it NOW! I think you have a limited time is all I am saying.. dont recall how long!

The packing slip doesn't have a breakdown of the items, it just says:

Poker Chip Set - $762.00

which seems odd to me, I've never not had a breakdown of the items. (That breakdown is confirmed in multiple emails from the company).

Definitely nothing about items being "back ordered".

I just called UPS and they said to contact the shipper tomorrow and then contact UPS again after that.

I just called in and they checked the weight of my shipment and it was way too light for what I ordered. My replacement shipment is on the way.

It just sucks if I'm going to have to pay duties on this package... Argh.

I'll bet you're relieved that you're getting them though! Surely you would have good grounds to argue for the recompense of the duties from trademark, or are they not that way inclined, customer service wise?

Excellent news... glad it worked out they knew they were short! Ask them to cover the extra cost as it was obviously a mistake on that end not yours!!!!

Glad things worked out. I have an account with trademark and I have never had any issues.
