If casino's are moving on to different chips, why in the heck to they have to pulverize the old one's? It's not like they can be used anymore...I don't really understand why Casino's don't sell these to the public and make back some money from them?

In AC you can cash in a chip at anytime and any of the AC casino's IIRC for face value... That is the reason for the distruction. The chips are assets if sold on the open market.
