I found this site with these chips I am wondering if someone can tell me if these are all faux clays and if these are good prices for them. There are three differsnt styles and anyone with experience with these please feel free to give your opinions. Thank you for the help.
links slayer is right on. #1 is faux clay. The price is ok but if you go to
discount casino gear you can get them at $.045 per chip. With shipping to me in IL the chips come out to about $.06 per chip. At the site you posted it would be more.

PS - I love how they still list the extinct colors but when you select them it shows out of stock (better than some that let you order the colors only to get the "Out of stock" e-maila afterward)

Especially after your credit card has been charged.... This happened to me when I went to order some Sopranos...GRRRRR.
I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with both the fauv clays and the super diamond chips. How are the two different besides the ! gram weight and mold? Are they both made of the same material and do they have the same texture and feel? I am curious because I know that a lot of people like the Faux clays and they would be a very cost effective way to get a tournament set but a lot of colors are always sold out. Are there going to be more of these made? If the only difference is the weight and mold I would think the super diamonds would be a good substitute for the faux clays but I would love some advice from some of you that know much more than I do about these so any input would be greatly appreciated.
My experience with Super Diamonds varied greatly. I ordered 1000 a few years back. I ordered red, green, black, and blue chips. All but the black were very slick and plasticky. The blacks for some reason or other were VERY nice feeling. They felt "softer" and had rounder edges than the other colors.
As far as I know there are going to be no more Faux Clays made. There is a clear difference in appearance and feel between the Faux Clays and Super Diamonds. The Faux Clays get the edge in both departments IMO. Color availability is the big downer with them though, as you are well aware.
Has anyone seen this dice mold on a faux clay chip that *also* has edge spots??? The regular host of my group has such chips--I am 95% certain they are faux clay and do *not* have a metal insert--but I have never seen them anywhere else.
