Chips: 2,070 | | | International Flat Rate Boxes Hello,
quick question, I'd like to know if the priority mail international flat rate boxes do have some sort of identification number (not necessarily tracking number) to them? If yes, is it on the receipt?
Thanks. |

Chips: 444 | | | Re: International Flat Rate Boxes I got a shipment of chips from Harlequin (thanks again Jayson) in a Global Priorty Flat Rate box. Not sure of the answer to the question you are asking but I did have to go down to the post office, show id, and sign for it. Great deal for US$37 odd to ship 500+ chips from the US to Oz. |

But I agree, this is a great deal for international shipping!
And as long as you have a number, you are secured for refunding if the box gets lost.
I personally don't give much about tracking.
They say 6-10 days, than you have to give a few days to the customs, so all in all it hits your door within two weeks usually.

Chips: 2,070 | | | Re: International Flat Rate Boxes Thanks guys. It's not about tracking, I just suspect that the box got lost somewhere so I'm going to contact the sender for that number to see if it arrived at the local delivery service at all. |

Chips: 6,130 | | | Re: International Flat Rate Boxes The purpose of delivery confirmation (.50 extra) is so the sender can prove it was delivered. That way, if the package disappears after delivery (stolen at work etc.) The sender is off the hook. It does nothing for the recipient except tells them the package has or has not been delivered.
I had a package delivered to my work and then stolen. The sender simply sent the delivery conf number to shut me up.
If you want to be sure you receive a package, request signature confirmation. |
