I got a rack of 100 dyed purples on saturday. I'm not sure if the color will hold. or if the will show some color transfer. |

I don't think it's even comparable. Some of the dye jobs that I've seen posted are putrid. These chips are already Faux Clays, with those chips that have been dyed, they are now Faux Faux Clay. Iri sh |

I guess it's not really what I think that counts in the end. It's what the people who have dyed their chips think. Now I have seen some pink & yellow dyed chips that "look" great but will they hold? I've also seen some UGLY dyed chips that decreased he value of the faux clays. Though that doesn't seem possible considering the price of the chips. Iri sh |

Chips: 4,382 | | | Re: Faux Clay dyed or classic? I voted original. I have quite a few original yellows to go with my sets (all original). The dying craze has somewhat tarnished their uniqueness (i don't care about value, i'm never selling them anyway).
The dying is fantastic for making pink, and that sweet light blue, so in the long run I believe dying is in the best interest of the Nation as a whole. |
