PI clone clones?
Just saw these on 5 star deal....

Definently interesting! Looks like Trademark is also a reseller of this chip. What I am trying to understand is...wasnt Palm Imports group buy pricing for these around the $0.34 price for blanks with edgestripes? Please correct me if I am wrong.
And snow, even if it isnt the exact mold...I am assuming they would feel identicle to the "wall mold" (btw, who the heck came up with that cheezy name?! lol)

The mold isn't quite exactly the same as the "first-run" solids or original Wallsons, which makes me wonder... did Trademark get imitation Wallsons made? Or did PalmImports license out a newer version of Wallsons to 5stardeal?
In any case, these aren't new Nexgens or anything similar. You might want to change the thread title to "5stardeal selling Wallsons?".

When working with asia, sometimes, they will sell your products to one of your competitor if they are offered enough money. I hope this isn't the case, for Palm Imports' sake. I have contacted the manufacturer and asked them what these will cost, with a custom mold etc. I know they must be cheap to produce, but what madness to sell these for $0.23 a piece. They are going to destroy the market for what seems to be a very nice chip. Well, I guess alot of chip buyers out there must be thrilled.

looks like the factory in china slapped on a different mold and sold PI's chip to trademark. Shouldn't be surprised, they already did it with davinci when they put the sprint logo on the chip for the casino davinci's.
I'm interested in what Joe has to say.
