I already have a 500 set of Archetype Ceramics for Tournaments:
150 x 25
150 x 100
100 x 500
50 x 1000
50 x 5000

(yeah i know i should've skipped the 5,000 but at the time i bought them i had no experience on chip breakdowns)

Also, I ordered 500 Samurais for cash set:
100 x 0.25
150 x 1
200 x 5
50 x 25

I then realized I couldn't miss out on the higher denom Samurais, so I ordered 250 more for use in small Sit and Go tourneys:
70 x 25
140 x 100
40 x 500

Now I just thought to myself that I DO NOT HAVE ANY PAULSONS!!!!!

So, what excuse can I give myself to order yet another set of chips? How many should I buy? They have to be enough to feel like a complete set.

I like the Top Hat and Cane, the Private Cardroom with denoms and the non denom Pharaohs...

HELP!!!!!

I was thinking of a dedicated "Heads Up" set, but any other suggestions are appreciated.

Get a set of Paulsons for your cash game. You can keep them as the alternate set or swap sets every game for added security.

You are on Chiptalk. Do you really need a valid reason to get another set of chips?

hmmm... an alternate cash set sounds like a good idea, but that would narrow my options down to Pharaohs NCV and Private Cardroom (using NCV for $0.25).

The Top Hat and Cane chips dont have a NCV or 0.25... why would they do that?

Also, I'm not too fond of the idea of using NCV set for cash game, just to avoid the remote possibility of any confusion. And I dont like the "Paulson Chips" mold on the Pharaohs denominated chips... So that would probably mean PCR is my only option if i decide to go for another cash set...

How about, you need a traveling set - like a small set to take with you whenever a game is not on the agenda but might happen.

you could convert one of your other sets for this and keep the new paulsons for home.
