Daily poll: Chip look or feel?

Time for a new one:
i know there are a lot of people out there spending a lot of time to get the best looking chips for their needs. Than, on the other hand are guys who really go for "performance" meaning the feeling and sound like the Faux Clay Nation Dudes.
So, click it!

I really gotta say I would prefer a great sounding chip with a avarage look to a great looking chip with a not so good sound and feel.

Re: Daily poll: Chip look or feel?

A good chip needs it all. The feel, the look & the sound. For my home set, I would not accept anything but great in all these

I really hope so.

I tried ceramics: Looks great, sound acceptable, feel... okay, next.

BCC Vineyard Clays: Look great, sound good, feel... slippery beast!

PI Clays: Sound great, feel awesome, look... like Paulson Home. ARGH!

ASM: Look awesome, feel awsome, sound awesome. YEAH! Price? Bummer

Re: Daily poll: Chip look or feel?

I'm pretty excited about my ASM, should arrive my Thursday or so.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of ceramics anymore, the might look great but the feel is.... flat, level, even.... no mold, no feeling of an Inlay.
Clays are the way to go!

Re: Daily poll: Chip look or feel?

LOL love the poll. For me its all about performance which is mainly stacking. If I can stack 40 and they have edgespots (solids possible for tournies) than i'm fine with it. If I had to decide between sound/feel and looks however itd probably be a draw. I care about feel and looks equally and don't really care about sound because its so objective and i've never heard a sound that I absolutely hated (except for dice which is never an option to me anymore). Never would play with cookies, probably would eat my stack til nothings left

Re: Daily poll: Chip look or feel?

Despite being a chick, I think I have to post the obvious.

What is the correct answer to the following question:

What is better about boobies: the look or the feel?

I hope this illustrates the absurdity of your question (although, similar to the above question, does not mean that it doesn't merit discussion).

Re: Daily poll: Chip look or feel?

Well ok fine... make us all delve into our sickness even more! lol

I have decided that I am a chip ****... oh ya for sure I am! Don't think I have met a chip yet I dont like! lol

Starting to really like ceramics... they are a good change of pace!

Love my ASM's and everyone who plays with them can't stop telling me how they love em! (of course they are used to playing with "official 11.5 gram casino chips" lol)

Wallson's - man I am really loving these new clays... they just seem so versatile and with the price point.. how can you go wrong! Looking forward to the solids...

Paulson Casino's what can you say.. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ultimate yummy! Course it is hard to actually play with these and not feel guilty you are touching some of the sets out there! lol

Lets face it chips are just sooooooooooooo delicious! isnt that why we are all here? lol

Re: Daily poll: Chip look or feel?

I like the nice feeling of some chips but I do'nt want to play with ugly chips either.
