(All just fun of course) | Hi, my name is Bernd, and I am addicted to chips aswell.
Although I have never played Poker in my house, I have had around 3500 Chips come and go. I have frames with chips in the hallway. I spend hours a day designing them. Yet I have never played poker in my house. We play maybe once a month. Sometimes once all 2 months only. Yet I think of spending $500 and more for pokerchips.
It IS an addiction.
I shuffle chips at work. I twirl chips during the smoking break. When I watch TV with my wife, I fondle the chips.
I seriously need help.

Chips: 2,152 | | | Re: Chipoholic Anonymous self therapy group Hello guys,
I guess I gotta explain my "disease" also a little bit more.
My real name is Steven and about 2.400 chips already left my place again, currentlich a set of 400 in my chip minibar and 2 setof 600 on the way and also 2 racks of several little shots.
I got chips at work, one in my wallet (old Paulson JB), chips at my girl friends place.....
Can't find my peace with it, once I got a new set it keeps the addiction down for a few days only and CT is the true Sin City for chipoholics.
I even do shuffle coins when I don't have any chips around.
But as a little excuse, we play home games twice a week..

Chips: 2,892 | | | Re: Chipoholic Anonymous self therapy group I have "too many" chips at home (sets of Samurais and Casino Royale), so I keep hoards of chips at work that my wife doesn't know about. They're in cases inside boxes under my desk; in racks in my desk drawers; in briefcases and backpacks... I'm running out of places to hide chips. I'm thinking I might buy a car just for the trunk space... |
