Clay Pro Series -- What the Heck is it?

I was checking out 5-Star's On-Line Special Section, and I saw an ad for Clay Pro Series chips, which they claim are "Casino Chips" at $.30 a pop.

Something about this sounds wrong. Anyone know what the story is? Who makes them, etc?

Re: Clay Pro Series -- What the Heck is it?

Hmm, isn't that a BCC or ASM mold??
Go for a sample and let us know!
If they're really clay they might get attention in the faux clay section!

That's definitely BCC's flame mold. Lightweight version no doubt. I forget what the going rate for solids are directly from BCC, but it is very close to $.30 anyway.

Thats not bad. Clay blanks with a recessed center perfect for 1" labels, instant chip security. I guess you could get a better color selection from Blue Chip Co. directly. Maybe I should have considered this option before I spent $2,500 on my clay chips.

I'm pretty sure these come from BCC though.

Re: Clay Pro Series -- What the Heck is it?

This is a pretty good deal. Solid HS chips from BC are .50 cents. I'm assuming with the recessed center the HS would cost .15 cents as no scraping is needed. Therefor the chips themselves would be .35 cents. Not only is that .05 cents more, but you can't get blanks from BCC, right?
