What are these? NexGen's? or something else?

What are those? They look like NexGens labeled with James Bond-ish inlays but I couldnt find that chip color / edgespot scheme with NexGens?

Any ideas? the picture is crud! I can get 2000 @ $40-ish LOL so I doubt they are anything special. but 2k NexGens for $40 isnt terrible either....

I might just have to make the drive to see if they are worth the $40.

Re: What are these? NexGen's? or something else?

I've seen these before mentioned on this forum. They aren't nexgens, but rather cheap knockoff clones. I wouldn't touch them but thats just me.

Faux Nexgens

They are definitely not the real nexgens. Probably just a knock off with a cheap label. But that being said, $40 is still cheap for 2000 poker chips...

I think I've seen those on ebay. Is that where you found them? If so, I would look at the comments in the sellers feedback profile. That may give you an idea.

cheap chinese crap. Look for threads in this forum asking about 'real clay' and 'ebay' and you'll find some better closeups that show how bad these things are.

Re: What are these? NexGen's? or something else?

They are not worth the gas you'd use up going down to check them out.

Save your money and get some Faux Clays (or Sopranos in your case).

Re: What are these? NexGen's? or something else?

Thanks everyone.... I almost pulled the trigger on those chips. I dont even need them, i've got +2k sopranos and 1.5k pharaohs... I just saw more chips to buy

I cant believe someone would make knock off NexGens... What a waste!

From the picture, I am assuming those chips are so bad they broke the camera

Re: What are these? NexGen's? or something else?

Those are out on eBay, especially in England.
A set of 1.000 is about $60 buy it now.
Would be pretty interesting to have them in hands though.

Re: What are these? NexGen's? or something else?

One of the home games I play in use these and there's really not a name on them. They have CASINO stamped on the edgeon them. They're somewhere in between a nexgen and 13g Casino Pro from Trademark... I thought I had an up close pic of them but I don't. I still think they're way better than DICE chips.
