Made a vow - I'll buy no more chips...

I vowed this weekend to not purchase any more chipsets. I'm guessing that others among you have made similar vows - and possibly broken them too.

I said that my customs were the last chips that I would need and that I'd buy no others after them. I was then asked to begin selling off unused chipsets as they were taking up too much space and worth too much money to go unused.
I said nothing in response.

The only way to keep from buying more chips is to quit chiptalk--and you can't do that.

Maybe your goal should be not to increase the number of chipsets that you own. You could put yourself on chip probation, meaning that for every set you bring into the house you would have to put another one up for adoption.

LOL.

I am really stunned that somebody so close to me would consider this to be such a problem. I was dumbstruck when the conversation evolved to the point it did. It was quite unexpected.

I can't say this has every happened either. Heck last set of Speakeasy's started with 450 a few months ago -- I own 950 today and just emailed Michael about another 300 tonight. I can't even imagine getting a set of chips and then disliking them...darn, sorry for you jeff -- you can sell me your sets you don't like.
