Bud Jones v6 or v7

Which do you like more? The v6 or v7 Bud Jones. I just received my Ceaser's samples and think the v6 are the nicest BJ chips I've felt. Then again, I'm not much of an expert on BJ chips.

Which do you like more and why?

I own a set of the WSOP V6 chips and they are great. The V7's are too difficult to stack, shuffle, and handle IMHO.

completely agree with you, button. the v7 is just too slippery.

Re: Bud Jones v6 or v7

The V7's are the highest quality, but the V6 or B&G's are easier to play with. Some people seem to be tricked by the new Caesar chips, when in fact they're pretty much a B&G. Maybe the best plastic chips to play with that I have seen so far.

V7's actually have more friction than a V6 or B&G because of more surface contact and the suction.

Neither of the above. Much prefer the BJ CICs.

Forgive the n00b here, but what are the differences?

Thanks.

Re: Bud Jones v6 or v7

Which BJ chips are the Commerce and Bicycle Club chips? I assume they are both the v7. If so, I don't like the v7 at all. I haven't noticed them being slippery, but they are just to rubbery! Every time i've played with them, they seem to stick together too much.

The v6 seem to have the closest feeling to a clay chip.

Also, what are the Rio D's? They seem like an older style of chip.

Re: Bud Jones v6 or v7

I've got two racks of Mirage Spring $100's, which are oversized 43mm BJ V6's....They are probably my favorite chips.

Someone can correct me If I am wrong, but I am pretty sure they are V6's, and they are the only 43mm BJ chips I have ever seen or even heard of-

P.
