I'm about to pull the trigger on my ASMs (yahoo!), and want to increase the set size from 500 to 550. Which denom would you give the extra chips to?

Current quantities:
50 "ND"
200 "1"
150 "5"
75 "25"
25 "100"

There are no $ signs on the inlays to create more flexibility, and I don't want to specify a "typical" game that I play as I want this to add flexibility for ALL games and blind values. Thoughts?

I would add 25 $25 and 25 $100s. That will give you essentially $8500 in chips so you could have an 8 person T1000 tournament easily

I agree with ding, but maybe increase your budget and buy 50-NCVs, 25-25s and 25-100s. You know you want to! Then you'd have 600!

50 $5
125 $25
125 $100
100 $500
50 $1000

Might as well get 1,000 chips while you're going custom.....

I agree if adding 50 only - get 25 25s and 25 more 100s.

If you up it by 100 though you might want to consider adding another denom too.

I would just bit the bullet and get 50 non-denoms, 25 $25, and 25 $100 chips. It would round out your set quite nicely and fill up six chip trays.

After all, more is better (unofficial Chiptalk motto).

Thx for all the replies...I'm actually filling out a 550 chip case, so 50 is really my max. I know it seems bass-ackwards, but it's more of an indulgence to fill the case...notsomuch needed chips. I actually really like dinghovery's idea.

I'd either do:

25 $5
25 $25

or

25 NCV
25 $5

Or with your logic of filling up the case -- BUY A 1000 CAPACITY CASE!!
