What to do with old dice chips?

Hey guys. I was just wondering what you all do with all your old dice chips that are useless now. Do people buy them on Ebay or not really?

Re: What to do with old dice chips?

Normally it seems like people try to sell them off to some of their friends, or people they play poker with. A lot of them want to try and have their own home game and don't care about the quality of their chips very much. That's how I got rid of mine! Since then, the person I sold them to has upgraded and sold his to another friend, and so on, so forth..

Re: What to do with old dice chips?

Yeah, good idea. Probably should try to do that. If not I can hope someone would buy them from me off Ebay. The only funny looking thing is that the shipping would equal the cost of the chips. Heh.

Re: What to do with old dice chips?

I'll be giving mine to my kids.

We might not like them much, but 11.5g dice chips are infintely better than the uber-cheap interlocking plastic chips I played with as a kid.

Re: What to do with old dice chips?

I keep my cheap chips around so my kids can use them. They look for quantity not quality, so I'm glad to let them use a whole bunch of them.

Concur! My two year old daughter just loves throwing them around. She's already mastered the Gus Hansen 'all in' move.

Re: What to do with old dice chips?

I will probably donate them to a guy who runs a regular game. I have 1150 or so dice's, so they will be a nice addition.

I did see a guy on EBay making them up into tap handles for a Keg. NOw that's an idea!!
