Itching to Buy New Chips

I don't have any money not earmarked for bills, and I already have whole sets of chips I will never use, and still I'm dying for some new group buy to fantacize about.

I hate it when I don't have (1) any chips on the way, (2) any new group buy to hem or haw over (knowing I will eventually not participate because I don't have the cash and I don't need more chips), (3) any chips for sale in the M2M that are the kind I collect.

I need a fix.

I might have a problem.

LOL

I feel your pain Bee. I just did a "Forced" inventory (read: the wife questioned what I had in the office) and realized I need to sell a bunch of stuff, but I feel empty w/out some chips in transit to me. This is a crazy addicition!!!!

Re: Itching to Buy New Chips

Yes a samples set is kinda like having a "patch" put on your arm to reduce the urge to binge. Heck I keep chips in the car for when the urge hits or I don't know what would happen

That's a wonderful offer--but I'm just projecting. I'm not a collector, so I would feel bad taking something from another's collection. But you could post a picture. Honestly, I just love the chase--like falling in love.

Re: Itching to Buy New Chips

Get in on the Matsui Blue Sands Cash set GB. Lets get serious. AFter you pay your bills what do you have? But taking that money and investing in chips is different. Lots Better. Get a second or sell something. Take the money out of your kids account. They'll never miss it and you'll be doing something nice for yourself.

Re: Itching to Buy New Chips

I have all the chip sets I could possibly need with the exception of some custom Paulson's or Blue Chip's. I don't collect samples, however at a lower cost I have become addicted to collects cards. I know have over 7 or 8 sets I don't use. I also discovered my favorites of all time (Dale Negro Liberties Acetate) so when I do have a game will never use all the others.

I don’t see any problem, except that you need to get to work on a new set.
