Is it me or are we due for a new Chipco set?

Chipco 'Classics' (does anyone like these?), 'Crystal Oyster' (nice but..), 'Casino', 'Sports', 'The Egyptians' (probably the nicest, but I've already got Pharaohs)...

Is it me, or could we use a nice new set of Chipco fantasy chips? I like the Crystal Oyster set and am giving them some thought for a ring game set, but...

...I'd love to see a new fantasy set that would fully exploit the graphic capabilities the way the Crystal Oyster set and The Egyptians do, but just with a fresh new theme.

I love my Pharaohs but would eventually like to get a set of ceramics as well, and Chipcos show me the nicest there is (I am impressed by my Crystal Oyster sample set) in ceramics. I'm thinking about a cash set of Oysters but would love to see something fresh and new from the Chipco camp. Maybe a set featuring the beautiful and vividly colored salt water fish... an 'Atlantis Casino & Resort' theme or something like that...

Re: Is it me or are we due for a new Chipco set?

Nothing at all wrong with owning both Pharaoh and Egyptian chipsets. Both are unbelievable and both are two of my favorites for sure.

As for me, I'm having a custom set of Chipcos made and am really excited about the project.

I'll look forward to seeing your post on those.
Any mock-ups or art scans you'd be willing to sneak us an advanced peek of?

*edit*
Uh, wait a minute... just noticed your avatar; is that the design?

Sure is. My custom set is comprised of shots of my two Golden Retrievers.

Here's a link to the thread containing the in-progress mock-ups.

Are we due for another fantasy Chipco set? ... It seems like it.
There isn't a WIDE variety of Chipco sets available to the market ...
but then again, that's why you just get yourself a custom set made to your liking.

I agree. Would love to see a new fantasy set for the home market.

Well yeah, I do. THEY are what got me started on this whole chip-a-holic thing. In fact I just bought over 1,200 more off ebay to combine with my current stock to run a big 100 person tournament. The Classics are fantastic feeling, although not the most fantastic design, sound great, the denoms are BIG & Bright so the over 40 crowd can see them well and for whatever reason I've always enjoyed playing with them.

...look just a bit left in this pic and you'll see my precious Classics! To each his/her own...

I think the Classics have a great design ... the only thing I don't like about them is the rolling edges ... all those chips have the SAME rolling edge design/colors.
