Anyone have any info on what will happen to or who will buy the chips from the Sands AC which is closing? Would love to get my hands on some of those.

Any idea when they are expected to close? I'd hate for this to be the 2nd Sands we've missed...

Face value because they can always be redeemed for face value with NJ gaming commision.

My understanding is a chip can be redeemed for face value in AC for as long as the NJ Gaming Commision is still in operation. It is a stipulation when you open a new casino in NJ that there is money put away for this reason with the commision..

Now where did I put that Playboy Casino snapper chip from 1980?? I could use an extra $2.50 right about now

It has been closed for over a month now. I think they said all chips will be distroyed. Beinf the fact they they are still good for face falue.
