I usually do more reading on these boards than posting but I need some input from you guys. I currently have dice chips and I am looking to invest in a nicer set of chips for mostly tourneys but that can also be used for a cash game if needed. I am wondering which sites offer samples and which ones would be good to order from. I like the ASMs and Chipcos look nice, I have also been told Nevada Jacks are good also. I just need to be pointed in the right direction since there are so many choices and possibilities. My max price range is $.80-$1/chip so tell me my best options.

Good, get samples, that's the best way to form an opinion. If you look under Market Place, any of those vendors would be glad to help set you up with a set of samples, and they're all very reputable businesses.

www.Apachepokerchips.com has sample sets of most of the higher end chips.

www.holdempokerchips.com also has some high end sample sets.

Thanks for the replies guys, I ordered some Nevada Jacks samples already. Anybody have a good site to order ASMs? http://www.apachepokerchips.com/ has expensive shipping to Canada ($11.50 shipping on a $9.00 order). I have emailed pokerchips.com directly to see if they offer samples but if anybody knows of any other sites I'll check them out also.

They're the only source that I'm aware of. They used to send out a few samples gratis if you express an interest in ordering a set.

Regarding the NJs;

definitely get your sample set from HoldemPokerChips.com rather than NevadaJacks.net.
Michael will charge you $6 and change + around $5-$6 shipping versus a whopping $20 charged on NevadaJacks.net.

Already did thanks to sunderB's suggestion. Now just looking to order some ASM samples.

Another Question here: Where on the pokerchips.com website can I find the pricing per 500 chips based on edge spot choices?

To the best of my knowledge for more than two sample chips (what ASM will send you for asking/expressing interest) from ASM you would have to purchase blanks from them. Definitely keep an eye on the M2M and the WTT forums because ASM samples pop up fairly regularly.
