Chips: 2,970 | | | Speakeasys available! I was just browsing the HPC site (typical thing to do on a Friday) and noticed "The Speakeasy" line (if you're not familiar, they're quartered BCC chips on the T-mold) read "Now Instock". If you don't believe me, check out the link: http://www.holdempokerchips.com/prod...p?prod=AYset11
I didn't know if I've just been out of the loop or what (a quick search for Speakeasy returned too many hits due to the CT member by that name). Anyway, I was just curious if anybody's got a sample or playable set yet, and if so, could post some pics. Not that I'm in the market... just curious.
If you still don't know what I'm talkin' about, here are the official mock-up images from HoldemPokerChips.com:

I also like the black and purple Samurai, but don't really need any more tournament chips and would never use $100 or $500 in a cash game. The NCV could be used as 25 or 1000 with those two chips for tourneys. |

Chips: 400 | | | Re: Speakeasys available! I like all of the chips in the set. But I can't be buying clay chips like they're faux! I need to improve at cards, or get a higher-paying job to do that.
I figured having a $1 and an NCV - aside from those being two of my favorite - would allow flexibility for single-table side games.
I order the denoms, from my most favorite to least, as follows:
1st tier - blue, black, purple, quartered
2nd tier - gray, yellow, darker gray
3rd tier - green, red
I didn't mean to turn this into a Samurai thread! |
