Chips: 546 | | | 1 and 2 million dollar Plaques at WSOP 2007? I don't know about you, but the final table had WAY TOO MANY CHIPS in 2006. Especially at the end with Jamie Gold's stack. I think it would be cool if they reduced the amount of chips in play and just had a few 1 million and 2 million dollar plaques (ala Casino Royale) when the Final table begins and then color up to plaques to get rid of the abundance of 100k and 25k chips, as the table moves on.
PS: No "There can never be too many chips" comments please. |

Though I don't see myself in that enviable position (WSOP chip leader), I think I would rather have the mountain of chips. Maybe they can add another denom, now that wouldn't be a bad idea. 500K chips now those would be sweet. What's the color scheme for the new chip? |

especially with the expected shrinkage of the field, i'd be surprised if they added denoms. |

If they're not gonna let people stack their chips if they have as many as Gold had then they need to have higher denom chips. But with the decreasing field sizes we'll see if they need it next year or not.
Actually, thinking about it now it's not that they need higher than the mint chips, just need to color more of the lower denoms up

Not as many on-line players = not as many satellite tourneys for possible players that could not enter for the $10,000 entry fee ( which I heard is also going up to $12,000 I think ) I think it will make the field better seeing as you won't have as many players in there on a $50.00 satellite. Less maniacs I guess is what I mean. Like that Demetry knobles guy (no idea how to spell his name) what a Donkey. Chris |

I took one of my employees to lunch last friday because it was his last day in the office. He is going to the field, so we won't get to see him very much. I asked where he wanted to go, and he said "Gold Cup", which is a "club" down the street from our office. While we were there, I saw Demetri hanging out and he is as arrogant in person as he was during the WSOP. One of the girls said that he is a jerk and thinks he should get special treatment because he is a "tv star". I almost fell over laughing.
