Hi All,

Just a quick question.

Does anyone know if Harrahs Las Vegas has a 25 cent chip? A buddy of mine will be there for the Super Bowl and I was going to have him pick up a rack or two if they are available.

Also, any insight on other Vegas casinos that do carry nice 25 cent chips (preferably clay) would be helpful.

I knew what ya mean buddy, just giving ya a hard time....Ive only heard of a few casinos using .25s and chances are they are all downtown....

Yeah. You'd be lucky to find any tables with less than .50 coin pieces anymore, let alone any blackjack tables actually using $1 chips. They've come to start using $1 coins in most strip casinos now, and it's very annoying to me

Usually any casinos using .25 chips won't be too lenient on letting them go...

Hence the reason they are selling for $175 a rack on here....One of the hardest denominations to get your hands on....Its all about timing with these chips..

I have only seen $1 and $5 chips in the poker room at Harrah's Las Vegas. The games there typically don't get high enough to need $25s and they use half-dollars for the change on the $2/4 limit tables, so no good on $.25 chips.

And they use real half-dollars, not chips. Just realized that wasn't very clear.

Can't one just pocket some chips on each visit? Or do they not let the $.25s leave the table?

If you can find them you can pocket them. You just can't buy racks of them
