Who else would agree with me on this one...

I noticed alot of new Paulson sample chips popping up on ebay, which has got me thinking........Why didnt Paulson use this inlay size for the Pharaohs, Bonds, and every other new home Paulson chip....I guess in a perfect world they would have

Anyone else agree with me on this one?

Re: Who else would agree with me on this one...

Maybe it is due to the fact that they have RFID in them? Probably not, since RFID tags are about the size of a grain of rice now.

Could be the alphadots?

Maybe it was customer demand

I do like new inlay size better than the pharaohs or bonds.

Yes, I agree but have you known any big company that uses common sense?

nightmares. more money... i can read RFIDs & expense it. the equip is not cheap. AT ALL.

You can print and spray RFID - just not compression mold it.

from what i see,
its a simple progression.
RFID is wireless/invisble to the user & secure if done correctly & trackable.
RFID chip tagging must occur post compression process, prior to labeling.

alphadots?

PLUS better inlay.

Sounds like someone is listening. Not a huge corp fan

but i suspect paulson could be gearing up to deliver chips with technology embedded in em...... if it works paulson will sell more than plastic racks to track your chips. duh? SoG

I like the inlay size better but the chipsoft chip should just be a hot stamp.

Re: Who else would agree with me on this one...

I like the larger inlay size too. Especially when it is just big enough to cover some of the "Jagged" inner ends of edge spots I have seen on a lot of chips

As for RFID in the home market - keep track of those expensive chips when your home game is over - when one comes up missing you know which player to go after
