I was just curious to see how long you all have been playing with high end casino grade chips. Paulson's, Bud Jones, ASM's, BCC, etc... I will be the first to admit I have only been playing with them for about 6 months. I can't imagine playing with anything else now. A year or two ago when i played cards with someone with the dice chips, I would get so excited. They were so "cool". Now like many others, I feel they are nothing but crap. I remember a time when all there was were those plastic bicycle red, white and blue chips! I guess I'm offically a chip snob now.

About 1 1/2 years at home games. Mine only unfortunately, since my home game locale alternates and the others don't indulge in quality chips. Got hooked on Paul-sons playing in casinos though several years ago.

I started a couple years ago (Nov) playing monthly games with fold out table toppers and hot stamped plastic chips from Gambler's General store. Then I met (via his on-line website) Michael at Holdempokerchips.com who turned me onto to CT when I bought some Chipco Classics. I have little left to spend and I'm now selling other assets to buy MORE chips! Yes, my precious....my precious chips.... So to answer your question, about 1.5 years and will forever more.

If you look around my house you'd think from all the Paulson chips that I've been using them for years but in 2005 I didn't even know there were Paulson chips and owned no poker chips at all. It just seems alot longer. How did I ever get so many chips and how much money have I spent? I think everyone on CT is asking themselves that question.

It's been about a year for me. I pieced to gether a set containing casino chips such as Vineyards, PNYers and Bellagio chips. I just have home games with family members but they could care less about the chips that I bring. Dice, Paulsons it's all the same to them. I'm pretty much the only one that splashes the pot with the chips and appreciate the sound.
