What chipset do you lust after?

In this holiday time of giving and generousity toward others, I thought it might be fun to consider just what chipset we wish we had, but do not.

What existing, available (let's not go crazy and start talking mint Sands sets that nobody has ever even seen before - must be attainable) chipset do you wish you had that you don't have (yet)?

Ok to name a fantasy and a casino set, but let's try to keep this to the top one chipset in each category.

I'm carefully considering my own answer prior to posting.

Re: What chipset do you lust after?

Great thread jamby.

I have a couple of sets I would love to own:

Mardi Gras Clays from HPC. Oldies, but goodies. I love the mold and there are enough non-denominational colors available to make a complete playable set without having to mix mostly denoms with just one non-denom.

Paulson Top-hat and Canes. I love the colors, inserts (edge-spots) and shaped inlays, if not the actual graphics on the inlay. The hot-stamped "private card room" variety are nice as well, but emerging concerns about warping and differences in the depths of recess make me wary of purchasing a full set for play.

T-Mold Blanks from HPC. I have 100 purple and plans to add on at least 300-400 more in other colors to make a full set. Beautiful, simple chips at a fantastic price. Me likey.

There are many others, but these are the three I find myself dreaming about most often.

Re: What chipset do you lust after?

Must say that against all my better judgement (and my personal distaste for non-clay chips) I love the Matsui Zens. That t100 chip is amazing. But for now I'll just have to make due with the Pharaohs I just bought (and wrapped and put under my tree). 4 MORE SLEEPS!!!

Oh and maybe the Chipset they give out to WPT Champions at various tourneys...that'd be special

Re: What chipset do you lust after?

A 575 chip set of REAL Bellagios. Breakdown as follows:
150 - $1
150 - $5
100 - $25
100 - $100
50 - $500
25 - $1000

Anybody wanna spot me a little over 63 grand to make it a VERY Merry Christmas?

Seriously though, I want a set of the new Paulsons (can't afford them either).

Re: What chipset do you lust after?

As far as a fantasy set, I wish that I had bought a complete set of JM's Casino Antarctica ASMs. I love the Paulson H&C Casino de Mexicos too as well as the BC Samurais, but the CAs get my vote in the fantasy/home chipset category.

I'm also a casino chipset collector and that one is even tougher to choose a favorite from. Will have to think more on this one.

Re: What chipset do you lust after?

Realistically possible: Grand Casino (Gulfport, Miss.) TH&C.

Less realistically possible: Dunes or Vineyards.

I am hoping my chip affliction does evolve into wanting sets of retired casino chips, or I could be in big trouble!

Paulson Vineyards. I would love a tourney set of Vineyards. Period.
