Does anyone know what site has the best price on the Paulson classics? I'm looking to buy a 400 piece set.

Have you checked the Member-2-member thread in the Chiptalk Marketplace? There is at least one member currently selling Paulson "Classics" (Trademark) for less than that. You should be able to get them second-hand for around $0.80 - 0.85. (harry24 is currently selling some for $0.80) Keep in mind a lot of people call them "Paulson Trademarks", since that's the company that ordered them for distribution.

You can get them with a case for $1.00 from 5stardeal.com (in 100's with the 100-mahogany case, or get 1000 with a birdcage and racks).

pokerchipshopping.com has them for $.75ea with the discount code. I ordered 350 and the shipping was only $16.
