Does anyone know of a chip that has a similar feel and sound of the Paulson? I would like at least 300 chips but I doun't want to spend a $1 per chip...

Thanks.
TR King and ASM
Although you're going to have a hard time getting those priced in.

I dont think there is a good alternative for paulson chips--TR King are probsably just as good if not slightly better than paulson IMO but will be hard to find as they are no longer MFG chips - you can find blank ASM or Blank Bluechips for about 60 cents a piece new- at apache poker or holdempoker chips but not comparable to a paulson.
The 10g bluechips match up better to Paulson, but TRk are probably the closest. I think it's mainly the hardness that makes them different
softest->hardest TRK->Paulson->ASM->BC , that's how I rank 'em

Very accurate description. I'd say any of those would be a good buy for clay lovers.
If you're asking the eternal question "where can I find 300 chips for $50 that are pretty much the same as $1/chip paulsons?" then I'm afraid you're out of luck. You can play poker with bottle caps and maybe no one would know the difference, but there aren't chips "like" Paulson's for anything less than $.60/chip, and for $.60 you're probably looking at solids.
