Chips: 488 | | | Which $5 chip? I'm working on a Paulson casino cash set. Which of these $5 chips do you like? I've included a couple stacks of each denom.
I think I like the Vineyard a bit more, but it's more expensive and I usually prefer the red $5s. However, I think the inlay goes better with the other chips. Maybe the $5 PNY is a little too dark and busy to work with the $1 and 25c...
Thoughts? Other $5 options I should consider?
By the way, the 25c BC casino Paulson is my favorite in the set. Weird huh? |

If you like red, you might also want to consider the st. jo's. At .50 each, you can't beat them! |

Have you considered changed the $1 to a white chip? |

Have you considered changed the $1 to a white chip? | Good question Dwight, and the answer is yes. I've always been a fan of a blue $1 and I think these Palms are sweet. I certainly haven't found any white $1s I like better.
Then I found the blue 25c chips and absolutely loved them, so I fugured I'd try them out. The picture really doesn't do them justice, they are almost a royal blue and the Palms are baby blue. The inlay designs are different enough that they are easy to differentiate when stacking a raked pot, and they also jump out at you in a stack, so I think they work OK together. |
