So I just got my first sample set of real clay Paulson Top Hat and Canes. Say it with me people! WOW! These are freaking AWESOME! Granted I have never played with anything other than "Casino Quality 11.5g chips" before, so I kinda feel like eddie murphy in trading places.. rags to riches. OMG I love these.. forget 1,000... I want 10,000. Every color, mold, texture available. I want it.
OMG the SOUND these things make.. When you let one chip fall on the stack at a time... It makes like a little cupping sound. OMG. I can't stop fingering these things. And they stack so tightly together. I always watched on TV and admired the stacks those guys put up... now I know why...
AND I'm getting my sample Matsui's ZENS sometime this week because I'm considering the WSOP Matsuis. I know I'm going to end up with two sets.. Probably clay for cash and Matsui for tourney.. OMG god help me... I'm going to spend all my money on poker chips. Is there like a poker chip anonymous? Someone save me please.. nevermind... It's too late for me.. All you newbies.. Save yourselves!... OMG you're evil... Yeah I know about the ceramics... I'm trying to ignore that urge right now.. When I first saw them I almost pounced.. but then I saw the matsui's and THEN i got my paulson samples.. So the ceramics will come later on down the line I think.

It's already too late for me. I've already accepted it. This is how bad it is... I'm scouring the internet looking for a great deal on an LCD flat screen TV to buy sometime b4 thanksgiving right? I WAS gonna get a 42". NOW, I am in the process of convincing myself that 42" is too big and that I'll do just fine with a 37" maybe 40" so that extra $$ can go towards chips! Help me...

Well, you’re going to need a big display for your tournament manager (BTW I highly recommend Dr Neau for that). But here’s a better solution that allows you to spend more on chips. Get a projector for your laptop and display the tournament on the wall.
Then you can get a regular 20” TV from WalMart for about $100.
Problem solved, and plenty left over to buy chips.
