Well my new obsession is poker chips. I thank you all. Of course my pocketbook cant take too much so I have managed to build a few sets using blanks as a common chip.
I have 100 NPS Poker set that I use the blue t mold blank as a t-50 chip-- a nuetral color would probably be more ideal as it would match more sets
in the NPS set i have 40-t25 ,40t-100, 20t500, and 5 t1000--just a meager 105 chips
We never play over 5 players so i issue the breakdown as follows
8-10-8-4-1==t4000==31 chips --- if i want a larger starting stack I can add 10 of the t50 and take away a t-500-for 41 chips- so far it has worked out well. The Pink and Blue T mold blanks offset the NPS set nicely-the colors match the edgespots on the t-100 chip.
I will probably purchase some Samuria Chips in the near future and will be using the blanks for some of my values. saves me about 40 cents per chip-plus they are chips that can be used accross sets. using them as the workhorse chip also means less wear on the more expensive ones-not that it really matters
