Which casinos use(d) $2 chips?

I'm curious as to which casinos used, or currently use, $2 chips (made by Paulson)... I have a 4-person heads-up set that needs about 20 $2 to complete.

Also, I'm just curious if casinos actually still use the $2 chip -- up here, the progression is $1 -- $2.50 -- $5, so I haven't actually seen a $2 chip in play.

Thanks.

Does it have to be from an actual casino? The Desert Palms include $2 chips.
If it has to, I found a few H&C $2's here: http://members.aol.com/ahoychips/index.html

One under Indian chips, I think.

I believe Binions has a two dollar chip and maybe the Wynn.

Caesars, Red Rock, Rio

All pics from silverstatetreasures.com

I know there are a bunch more, but can't find them right now as I am at work. They are generally used in the Poker room though.

Take Care,
Couga

Re: Which casinos use(d) $2 chips?

Thanks, everyone...

I started looking through the links on silverstate, and I can't believe what they're charging for these. $4 for a $2 chip, plus shipping, for a chip currently in circulation?

I have GOT to start doing this with chips from the local Canadian and NY casinos...

Anyhow, here's question #2 for everyone. These chips will go to complement my New Sonny's... would you go with:

A) Fantasy chip with a different mold, even though it's made by Blue Chip, and pay $20 for 20 chips...

B) Real casino chip (probably Foxwoods, since it's the closest and I don't know anybody in Vegas) with the H&C mold, but pay $40+ for 20 chips?

Re: Which casinos use(d) $2 chips?

I would get the $2 casino chips and wait for some New Sonny $2 chips to come around. (i think they had a $2) Once I get those I would cash in the casino chips.
