Chips: 223 | | | Advice for Home Tourney Chip I have a set of NexGen chips with custom labels that I currently use for my home games. Its a nice set and at the time that I got them there wasn't anything better without spending $500.
Now there are so many kinds of group buys, with Paulsons and custom ceramics and WSOP copies that I want to upgrade to something nicer. But I still don't want to spend $500.
So, what kond of advice can people offer? Should I go with a less expensive ceramic that is custom, or look at getting into one of the group buys. I don't need or want a WSOP look alike chip. Is there something in the near future worth waiting for or should I look at something now? |

Chips: 196 | | | Re: Advice for Home Tourney Chip On TV, tourney chips are often solid, and hotstamped..
You can get solid/hotstamped chips from Blue Chip Company for.45 cents per chip...A custom stamp would be $100, so 500 chips for around $350....
You could try to get some Bellagios in the m2m forum once they come in...
You could wait for one of Palmimports.com's clay chips that will be great chips for a great price...Could be several months for those to get going, though..
