So basicly I will be playing thre different types of game:
1 low stakes hold'em
2 high stakes hold'em
3 40 chip tournaments
so the 40 chip tourney is when everyone gets 40 chips (say 7 people) blinds are 1 and 2 until someone busts out, then thwy go up to 2 and 4 again until someone busts out... 4 and 8... etc.. you see how ot works
For the low stakes games I will be using all of the $.50 (75) all of the $1 (250) all of the $5 (250) and 25 of the $20 for a total of 600... 6 100 chip trays
For the high stakes games I will be using all of the $1 (250) all of the $5 (250) 75 of the $20 and 25 of the $100 again for a total of 600... 6 100 chip trays.
So my question is this do I buy a 600 chip acrylic case and swith out one tray (75 $.50 and 25 $20) for low stakes for the other tray (75 $20 and 25 $100) for high stakes games. And buy a 300 chip case for the non-denom chips. OR do I just buy a 1000 birdcage and carry everything with me at all times?
I never play at home and I never mix games... if we are playing 40 chip tourney we will NOT be playing cash, if I am playing high stakes I do NOT need the .50 and if I play lower stakes I do NOT need the $100
So 1 600 arcylic and 300 chip case OR the 1000 chip birdcage?
Thoughts?
Another good reason to go with the ones I bought is that they come with the chip racks. And you can save the second one for you next set or sell it on here as there is always someone looking to pick up just one of them.
The problem is that is the case with one latch and one handle... the other has two latches and handels on both side of the top... seems more secure to me than that one...
BUT my biggest problem is I am in Canada... sooooo shipping is going to kill me. When I tried to order that case from casinosupply.com the case was $39 and shipping was $89!!! So thats takes that out of the picture!!
