I had a dream...

I had a dream I was playing CT heads up in a cash game. The final hand I get:

, So I raise, and CT calls. Then the flop comes:

. So I raise again, and CT calls again.

Then comes the turn: . I check, CT raises (ha ha) and I call.
Finally the River card comes up . I check and CT raises all in.

I call and show my . CT shows:

, . The morale of my story, CT is the devil, took all my money, and all I have are these lowsy (gorgeous) chips.

P.S. to the mods, I didnt know where to post this story, so I posted it in the GB section where I thought it had the most relevance. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Way to call off all your chips when you don't even have the nut flush and the board is paired.

Re: I had a dream...

After the way you played that hand, I'd be suprised if you even had any chips left. Where was the check raise on the turn?

Re: I had a dream...

so exactly how do you play against a website?

was there a computer monitor, or were you just playing against ' chiptalk.net ' and the words were floating around in the hair and stacking chips?

did the CT text flip its all-in chip at you, when it pushed?

Thank you for asking,

its a metaphor between my bank account (me), and all the group buys on this website (CT). I see something I like, then something better comes along (like the "hand" we played). As soon as I commit to one purchase... eventually I have no money left to spend (I'm all-in)

Its a "poker game" i play in everytime i log on to this wonderfully capitalistic site. Like online poker from the comfort of my home.

Yes, because you see, I was the short stack in this scenario. As soon as I get more money, I'll definitely sit at this game again .
