Chips: 645 | | | Cheapest NEXGEN "Lucky Bee's" I'm looking at getting a 400 piece NEXGEN "Lucky Bee" set and wonder if anybody can point me in the direct to the best deal. So far, 5 Star Deal and Discount Casino Gear seem to the best I've found around $65.

Chips: 29 | | | Re: Cheapest NEXGEN "Lucky Bee's" Are you going to use the chips for a cash came or Tournament ? You may want to go to the 750 set. I started out with 400 chips and had to buy another 250 (8 to 10 Players). Try to get everything that you need at one time. THE SHIPPING IS A KILLER. Discount Casino Gear has the best price. Send me your E-mail and I will post pic of my chips. Arrowwood |

BTW Arrow, not to threadjack, but how do you have a +2 rep with only 25 posts?!?!?! You must've been hit with some serious hammers early. I'm a +2 but with over 500 posts! Quality, not quantity, I know... hehe

Chips: 2,986 | | | Re: Cheapest NEXGEN "Lucky Bee's" 5stardeal often has 25% off sales on almost everything in stock (including lucky bees - that's where I got mine). I'd wait for one of those. The only problem (for Canadians at least) is they ship by UPS, which can cost you brokerage fees of more than the chips are worth! If you can send them to an American address, then have them relayed to you via a more cost-effective method...
Notice that for price per chip, one of the cheapest options for lucky bees from 5star is to buy the 100-piece set in a mahogany case. Those cases come in handy for storing my sample sets and collectibles - not to mention a heads-up set of Paulsons.
BTW, I really like your "Poker Monkey" design. I have > 1200 hot-stamped bees for my department tournaments and everyone really likes them. The only problem is they are a bit slippery (compared to ceramic or clay chips, and moreso that the ultra-cheap Faux Clays) so you can't make stable stacks of much more than 15-20 chips... but this hasn't been a problem with my group. They're much nicer in every respect than dice!

Even a 500 piece set is a little over the top for what I will be using the chips for.

I started with a 750 chip set, then kept buying 100-200 more and found this to be a particularly good deal (with the mahogany 100 case). The 200 chip set with the transparent lid is also particularly cheap... and comes in handy for holding a small travelling cash set. |

Chips: 645 | | | Re: Cheapest NEXGEN "Lucky Bee's" When 5 Star Deal has a sale on they are the cheapest, just over $60. You don't have to tell me about the shipping costs, I'm in New Zealand and if you use the calculate shipping tool it works out to be $250+!!! I have indeed found someone who I can ship them to in the US and forward them at a more respect price.
As you say they will much better than "Dice" and I never have any chips to stack usually anyway. Nice photos too BTW. Quote: |

David | I'm in talks with Jason about printing my custom labels and have mention the NEXGENs in passing but I will see what he really has to say.
