I have to say I am very pleased with these chips. I ordered 200 w. blaze orange and 100 gray chips to along with my faux clay tournament set. The orange chip felt a little light at first but after messing around with it and breaking it in it felt fine. There is a noticeable difference in weight between the orange and gray chip as the gray is heavier. This was told already to me, as to why I don't know. I was thinking about hotstamped A-Molds from ASM but worried about the feel and durability i went with the slightly cheaper (.60 per chip compared with .50 per chip from blue chip) blue chip solid hotstamps. Overall im very satisfied with my purchase and Mike at Blue Chip was very helpful.

Here's a better picture that I just took on my scanner of the gray chip (The gray is slightly darker than in the scan). Did not include the orange chip because it scanned as a different color.

Nice chips!

The variance in weight may be due to the materials used in making different colors. The "gold" ($1000) trademark/pharaoh's/JB chips are also noticably lighter than the other chips in those sets.

LOL sorry Ky70. Im at school right now, but ya i was actually in the store the other day searching for a disposable digital camera. Not sure if there is even such a thing, but I promise when I get the chance I will update this post with more pics.

Sheesh

It's wierd the weight would be that off.
Unless its similar to ASM all dayglo (no brass flakes) chip vs. standard (sparkles included) color chip.

Looking good Jeff123. Well now I know what two of mine are going to look like. Mine are being shipped today.
If you don't get a camera in time I'll take some hi-res pics of mine when they come in.
Hopefully they get here before I leave on my trip to Cali.
