Bluechip Vineyards or Bluechip High Rollers

If you were going to buy a 600 chip tournament set of either the BC Vineyards or the BC High Rollers, which set would you choose and why? I need help here as its a really tough choice for me. I like the colors and design of the Vineyards, however, I don't like their slickness and lack of stackability. I like the some of the colors of the High Rollers ($100s and $5000s0, however, I don't really like the inlay as much. The $25 and $600 High Rollers don't really do it for me either. The High Rollers on the other hand stack better and are a tad heavier. What do you guys think?

when I had samples of each I found they were indistinguishable wrt slickness...so I would go by which design and spots you like best...

Re: Bluechip Vineyards or Bluechip High Rollers

I personally like the high roller's better. I think the design relates better to poker than the vineyards do. I never understood the fascination with the vineyards.

I prefer the High Rollers too. I like the Vineyards, but the edgespots and design of the 'rollers are nicer.

Re: Bluechip Vineyards or Bluechip High Rollers

these are two of my favorite BC sets. if they were the heavier chip. i'd buy both. it's a shame they were made before the 9.6 gram BC came out. tough choice between the two.

I have some BC Vineyards in the M2M and you can still buy them from the guy on ebay, but he wants over $1/chip for them.

Re: Bluechip Vineyards or Bluechip High Rollers

I have a set of the High Rollers and they are very nice. I love the Vineyard's too, but they are simply too hard to come by (I also have a set of the Chipco Vineyards which are still available through HPC).

High Rollers are just as nice and you can still buy them so if you decide later on you need more you will have a much easier time expanding your set. The BC Vineyards would be much more difficult to add onto.

just curious, you did see the BCC sets for the home market, right? they have two from the famous city of Gardena, CA (Rainbow & Monterey rooms).
