has anyone got the sample chips of these yet or have they not gone to press yet?

None of the protege's have been produced yet, or at least not shipped out as far as I know. I don't think they will be available until later this month or early next month - I'm sure Sidepot can answer this better himself though.

Samples of the 10g chips were made available by Sidepot some time ago though with the in play inlay. They were sent to some lucky chiptalk members, of which I was one. A very nice chip and I can't wait until I get my Protege's.

come on I cant wait that long!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friends are sick of me talking about these nice chips that cost so much money ( too them anyway) and everytime they come over to play i bust out the dice chips
so i told them as soon as i can get them i would.. which i guess will have to be later this year. I know they have not come out yet but also know some lucky ct members got samples and was wondering if they had got them yet but i guess not as always thanks for the info everyone.
