Not that it is all about odds but how much you can win if you do hit your hand etc but a 22% vs. 77% shot is pretty hard to overcome.

Chips: 208 | | | Re: Homemade Card Protector I'm not saying they never win. I've won many pots with them and those pots have been alot bigger than the ones I've won with pocket pairs. But what he's saying is that he would take suited connectors heads up verses a big pocket pair anytime and doesn't seem to realize that more often than not he will lose. |

I play with mostly those kind of people, the fish for everything. There is this cash game in town that I have been asked to play... it it loosly based on NL hold em, but they got it mixed up, no blinds for example. My point is when you play here it is like playing for play money on P*, everyone gets their cards and sure enough someone goes all in first hand... and get 2 or 3 calleds, I mean UNsuited connectors, A5 suited... whatever. They rebuy for twice the buy in untill all the chips are gone... BUT the pot last night (winner takes all) was $1800... but it is more like slots than poker. Sorry didn't mean to jack your thread you just got me thinking...
I like making your own card protector... your golf ball creation is nice, could use a little fine tuning... but nice idea. |
