I understand that Matsui chips and Bud Jones are similar in appearance?
What are the main differences, feel, looks, price etc?
Where can I order Matsui chips?
What I'm really after is the Bud Jones look with strong edge spots, vivid colors, higher denoms for my home tourneys, and preferably the BJ feel without having to pay a fortune for real BJ's!
I like the WSOP design as it's very "tournament" style but I also like the MGM chips design (V7(?)).
Although the Matsui market is open to "home" purchases, I think they still require an order number beyond what you're probably looking for for your setup. I don't have any experience firsthand with these guys, but I'm pretty sure this sounds familar to me.
Someone with more experience with the Matsui process can probably comment further, but in any case it's a shame that you and I both missed the Matsui GB that's commencing right now. Ordering's already over
