Hello -
Need some expertise/opinions.
What chip/color do you feel would compliment New Yorkers as a $.50 denomination?
and are the $2.50's impossible or super pricey to come by?

Something real generic like a grey or blue Paulson Starburt chip would work pretty well. I have grey Paulson cherries i will be using as sub-$1 denoms. The hot-stamped cherry on them doesn't fit int with the NY theme very well, but I have them and they stack and feel similar with the Paulson TH&C on them so its close enough for me. If I had bought the chips in reverse order, knowing they would be used with PNY's, i would have gotten Staburts instead.

That's not a bad idea with TR King out of business.

I'm going to be using my chocolate 10c and light gold 25c Kings Crown hot-stamped for my fractionals. They fit in GREAT in my mock ups.

I would seriously consider getting .25s and .50s if the design clicked with the PNY's. Some will call me crazy but we are using these in our cash game. I'd love to be able to use them for the low limit games as well.

Maybe a custom hotstamp? An outline of the state? I'm not too creative so hopefully the talented people can come up with something nice.

I like the idea of the outline of the state, or maybe a big Top Hat and Cane (like the Olivia's or perhaps an Apple? Just two colors, one for $.25 cents and one for $.50 cents....

I was thinking of doing this too. Solid chips with a custom die are 50c + $100 for the die. (75c w/ edge spots)
